Q: What is German Biological Medicine?
A: German Biological Medicine is a holistic healthcare approach that supports the body’s self-regulation through natural remedies. It emphasizes detoxification (drainage), organ support, and functional medicine principles. Marco Pharma specializes in formulas that reflect these traditions, made to high European quality standards.
Q: Are Marco Pharma products FDA approved?
A: Like all dietary supplements and homeopathic remedies in the U.S., Marco Pharma products are not FDA “approved” in the way pharmaceutical drugs are. The FDA does not require or offer pre-approval for supplements or homeopathic products before they are sold.
That said, our products are manufactured in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) as required by the FDA for dietary supplements. Additionally, many of our formulas are imported from Germany, where they are regulated by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) — Germany’s equivalent of the FDA — and must meet strict European standards for quality and safety.

Q: Are Marco Pharma products safe?

Q: Why are Marco Pharma products only available through healthcare practitioners?
A: Marco Pharma products are formulated to be highly effective and targeted in their action. Many of our remedies are professional-grade, with concentrated herbal extracts or homeopathic preparations that require knowledge of proper dosing and individualized use.
Some of our products are classified as homeopathic drugs and are registered with National Drug Code (NDC) numbers, meaning they are intended for use under the guidance of a trained professional.
For safety and best results, our products should be recommended by a licensed or qualified healthcare practitioner who can evaluate your unique health needs and determine the most appropriate support. This ensures a higher standard of care and helps avoid inappropriate or ineffective use.

Q: We noticed an FDA warning letter issued to Marco Pharma. What happened, and is the situation resolved?
A: The FDA issued a warning letter to Marco Pharma in January 2020 following an inspection in 2019 that identified issues with documentation and labeling.
These findings were related to record keeping and labeling, not product safety.
Since then, we’ve taken full corrective action: updating our quality systems, improving batch records, and strengthening compliance procedures.
The FDA has confirmed that all issues have been resolved.
While the original warning letter remains publicly available on the FDA’s website (they do not remove warning letters after compliance is achieved), our facility is now fully compliant with cGMP standards.
This experience helped us strengthen our internal processes, and we continue to maintain strict quality controls, so customers and practitioners can confidently rely on Marco Pharma products.

Q: Can I use Marco Pharma products while taking medications?
A: Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, especially if you are currently taking prescription medications.
Q: Are your products suitable for children or during pregnancy?
A: Some of our products may be appropriate with practitioner guidance. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional before use in children, during pregnancy, or while breastfeeding.
Q: How do I know which products are right for my patients?

Q: How do I place an order?

Q: Do you offer direct-to-patient drop shipping?
A: Yes! We offer direct-to-patient drop shipping at no additional charge. This convenient service allows practitioners to have products shipped directly to their patients, saving time and streamlining care—especially for virtual or remote practices.
To place a drop ship order, simply provide the patient’s shipping information at checkout or when placing the order by phone. We take care of the rest, ensuring timely and discreet delivery with no pricing or promotional materials included in the package.
Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Shipping times vary by location, but standard U.S. delivery typically takes 3–5 business days.
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A: No, we currently only ship within the U.S. and it’s territories.
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Homeopathic medicines cannot be returned. Nutritional supplements, however, can be returned according to the following stipulations: Merchandise must to returned unopened, unmarked, in a saleable condition according to invoice number and invoice date. PRIOR AUTHORIZATION is required on all items. Please call our order department for a return authorization number. A 10 percent (10%) handling charge will be deducted from credit for returned product. No returns will be accepted after 60 days of invoice date.
